When I was a teenager, I had a crash course in security camera surveillance thanks to a girl I knew. Though I didn’t know this girl very well, we hung out with the same people. She had gone into a small corner gas station and tried to shoplift a candy bar. Not only did she get caught, she got into a whole lot of trouble. It seemed like a lot of fuss over a $.50 candy bar, but I guess that was what was coming to her. What was frustrating was that she seemed to learn very little from this incident. As soon as everything was clear, she went on to a different store and stole again.

AA Batteries
November 20th, 2007 · No Comments
I found it highly amusing when my parents handed me a rather heavy bag of AA batteries when we went down to see them for Christmas. They had bought quite a few things for my daughter for Christmas, and most of them took at least two AA batteries. They said that they know how expensive batteries can be, and they thought that if they did not supply the batteries that she might not get to play with many of her new toys. They may have been on to something because had we been the ones to buy the batteries, many of her toys would still be in the boxes they came in.

Add URL to Search Engines
November 13th, 2007 · No Comments
The new millennium is loaded with individuals striving to earn a living from the comfort of their own homes. Fortunately there are several ways to go about this. While most of them involve the use of the Internet, there definitely are alternatives. However, one would have to be extremely confident in their products/services to avoid the web in this day and age. Cyberspace opens us up to such a greater audience. Take web publishing for example. Many people choose to build websites, web pages and blogs. The reason this is so appealing is because it costs you very little to nothing in order to get started. Once you create a unique blog or website, you can simply add url to search engines. This way your address will get indexed and available to come up in searches.

My daughter is very interested in finding out more about magic. She has wanted to learn magic tricks ever since she saw Greg Wiggle try to pull a rabbit out of his hat on the Wiggles’ television show. This year for Christmas I got her a magic kit so that she could start doing some simple tricks. Though her interest in this is on and off, she has learned to do a few simple tricks. Just when I think she has had enough she comes back for more.

Xmas Gifts for Teenagers
November 6th, 2007 · No Comments
When it comes to buying something for those who have left childhood, but are not quite adults just yet, you can have a hard time finding something that you think they will like. Teens can be hard to buy for, and that means your chances of getting the right thing are slim if you don’t put some time and thought into what you want to get for them. If they are your own children, they have probably already been dropping hints, but when you have to buy for someone else’s children, you have a lot to consider when buying a Christmas gift for a teenager.
